So today I arrived on the beautiful Guernsey and it could not have been a better day! I am staying in a gorgeous converted barn in St Saviour the South West part of the Island, I took some photos but it just doesn't do it justice!
I am borrowing a bike for my time here so managed to spend the afternoon exploring parts of the Island. Went to the stunning Grand Roques Bay (pictured above) and enjoyed the sunshine and fresh seaside air that I have missed so much!
I then navigated myself back to the barn without too much bother only a few very large very long unexpected hills on the way. However a big hill does have rewards with beautiful views and some very happy looking Guernsey cows!
Off to see the School and Studio tomorrow where I will be sending lots of my time over the next few weeks. Already feeling inspired by my surroundings and cant wait to get making!
